| jeff | I just bought a Kubota tractor and need any info. One side says its a L2202dt-m and the other side says its a L2002dt-m, I'm pretty sure it is a grey market. I was told by the seller that it is around 27-28 horsepower. The only numbers I could find were 30406 k6-b and 95p08k these were on the motor and by the clutch. The thing I need the most is what American model is close to this one so I can buy a temperature sensor, thats the only thing that doesn't work. any info PLEASE!!!! |
| BillK | Seems like the stickers were mixed up as L2002 and L2202 are different models. L2002 is 20 hp continuos or about 24 maximum. The L2202 is 22 cont. and 26 max. The engine number is stamped in the block right next to the fuel injection pump ,on a flat machined surface. It will be either D1300 or D1400 (or D1402 same thing) depending on actual model. The tractor s/no is stamped on the RHS under your right leg as you sit on the tractor, on the upper part of the gearcase visible between the orange panels. Look on the side of the blue gearcase.The first part of the number identifies the model of tractor. Try part number 38240-32830 temp sender from any Kubota dealer, but suggest you don't mention its a grey import as some dealers go all funny about greys. There are no identical export versions, or American versions, but many parts cross from other models in the range, including engine parts, transmission parts and hydraulic parts. We have sold many of these in Australia with very good results.
